Gamers knew him through the special role of Dr. Eggman Robotnik and Sonic the Hedgehog. Indeed, Chikao Ôtsuka lent his voice to the vile character in all the game in which he had a talking role. He also took the role of Captain Hook in Kingdom Hearts, and Xehanort during his appearance in the series; also Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriot in which he was the voice of Big Boss. In fact, it is Chikao Ôtsuka’s son Akio who lends his voice to Solid Snake in the Japanese version on the Kojima games series from the very first one.
